Coaching is not a series of isolated sessions. It is a journey.
Individual coaching is designed for people who are navigating change, facing an important decision, or looking for greater clarity and direction. Rather than treating each conversation as a stand-alone session, we work through a process that includes coaching conversations, follow-up, and check-in moments between sessions — giving you the time and support to reflect, experiment, and turn insights into meaningful action.
Sessions can take place online or in person. When possible, I particularly recommend walking together in nature. Walking creates a natural rhythm for conversation, encourages a different kind of attention, and can make it easier to think, reflect, and see things from a new perspective. Even when the coaching itself takes place online, you can incorporate this approach by joining the session while walking outdoors.
The length and frequency of conversations are adapted to the journey and what is most useful at each stage, rather than following a fixed format.
When useful, coaching can also be complemented by online, self-paced learning through my Online Academy. The Academy offers a range of leadership topics, including team leadership, time management, coaching skills for managers, and self-leadership, among others. These learning modules can be integrated into the coaching journey when a specific topic, knowledge, or skill would support your progress.
Coaching and teaching serve different purposes: coaching helps you explore, question, gain perspective, make decisions, and move forward; training provides knowledge, concepts, and practical tools. When additional learning would be useful, the Online Academy provides it in a flexible, self-paced format without turning the coaching conversation into a lesson.
The aim is not simply to find answers during a conversation, but to create the conditions for lasting clarity, meaningful decisions, and sustainable change.
